Prior to joining Keker & Van Nest in the fall of 2011 and completing two clerkships, Ms. Agarwal worked for several social justice initiatives. During her American Civil Liberties Union fellowship she contributed to several civil rights litigation projects, including an amicus brief for the US Supreme Court discussing the Sixth Amendment right to counsel and a brief analyzing excessive force and qualified immunity. She also served as a student attorney for both the Columbia Human Rights Clinic and the Battered Immigrant Women’s Project, as well as interned for the Majlis Legal Resource Center in Mumbai, India.
Ms. Agarwal is conversationally fluent in Hindi.

Plaintiffs v. National Milk Producers Federation et al: In this antitrust class action, plaintiffs sued our client, one of the largest dairy producers in the country. They claim the dairy producers illegally conspired to raise market prices of milk, costing consumers $9.55 billion.
