Before joining Keker & Van Nest in 2009, John Bostic clerked for the Hon. Marilyn L. Huff of the United States District Court for the Southern District of California.

John graduated from Stanford Law School in 2008. During law school, he was an editor for the Stanford Technology Law Review. He also spent a semester as an extern at the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of California, where he was assigned his own caseload and assisted with felony prosecutions. John received his bachelor's degree from Yale University, where he majored in molecular, cellular and developmental biology. As an undergraduate, John worked part-time analyzing raw genomic data for a lab researching tuberculosis.

John is admitted to practice in California.
