Paula Blizzard's practice focuses on antitrust and patent cases, as well as software related matters. She is a 1999 graduate of Boalt Hall School of Law, University of California at Berkeley.

Before joining Keker & Van Nest in 2004, Paula worked with the United States Department of Justice, Antitrust Division in San Francisco. While there, she worked extensively on United States v. Microsoft, and held the title of special counsel, reporting directly to the assistant attorney general for antitrust in Washington, DC. Paula also played a significant role on the United States v. Oracle trial team.

Prior to beginning her legal career, Paula worked for many years as a consultant to NASA. In that role she performed a variety of computer science and electrical engineering tasks, everything from spacecraft design to web site development. Paula's undergraduate degrees, in physics and literature, are from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
