Prior to joining Keker & Van Nest in 2008, Suyun H. Kim clerked for the Honorable Gerald B. Tjoflat of the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and was a litigation associate at Williams & Connolly LLP in Washington, D.C.

In 2006, Suyun graduated cum laude from Harvard Law School, where she was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. Before attending law school, Suyun studied Korean as a Richard U. Light Fellow in Seoul, South Korea, and worked at the Korean Women's Development Institute. She graduated summa cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa from Yale University in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in ethics, politics and economics.

Suyun is admitted to practice in California, Pennsylvania and the District of Columbia.
