Ashok Ramani has tried several jury trials in a variety of substantive areas, including intellectual property, professional liability, and criminal law. In addition to trial work, Ashok has litigated a number of intellectual-property matters, including a nine-figure international patent and trade-secret dispute and multiple internal trade-secret-theft investigations. Ashok's representative clients have included Cadence Design Systems, Corus Pharma, Google, National Semiconductor, Netflix, Polycom, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company.

Ashok received his Juris Doctor degree cum laude in 1998 from Harvard Law School. He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in South Asian civilization from U.C. Berkeley in 1995, graduating with high honors and membership in Phi Beta Kappa. Before joining Keker & Van Nest, Ashok clerked for the Honorable Henry H. Kennedy, Jr. of the United States District Court for the District of Columbia.

Ashok is active in bar and community affairs. For the past two years, he has served as faculty during the National Institute of Trial Advocacy's Western Region trial-skills course, and is presently the co-chair of the National South Asian Bar Association's litigation section.
