As a firm, we pay more than lip service to diversity goals. Our firm was an original signatory to the No Glass Ceiling Initiative of the Bar Association of San Francisco in May 2002. As of January 1, 2005, nearly a third of our partners are women, including two on a part-time basis. We are also a signatory to the Bar Association of San Francisco’s Goals and Timetables for Minority Hiring and Advancement, and we have met these targets for December 31, 2005.

Being an effective trial lawyer is ultimately about communicating with a broad audience: judges, juries, witnesses and clients.
